Noisy cat and hot weather.

Today seems to be a better day than most have been. Other than the 95 degrees it happens to be outside, and the fact that Purusha, my momma’s boy kitteh, will not shut up and has been following me around talking at me now for a half an hour straight.

One of my friends came over yesterday, and helped me clear out the last of my possessions from my storage unit, and spent the night. Watched George Carlin’s last Showtime special, and today finally installed everything in the bathroom that needed putting in. Couldn’t have done it without him. I can finally put away a large portion of the crap that’s been sitting out in my patio for practically a month.

Went with our neighbor Susan and Duncan for a hike with the beagle and Susan’s two beagles down on one of the horse trails by the rose bowl. Even got Pluto in the creek a few times. Though as Duncan puts it, “That dog is like a sled team, he never stops pulling! But he could never be the lead dog because he doesn’t look where he’s going.”

So now we are getting ready to leave for Wall-E at the theater in La Canada. I’d wait for Bowen, but Duncan’s had to put up with enough shit this summer already and we can see Get Smart together.

Downloaded Firefox and installed it. Got totally sick of having internet explorer die because it couldn’t hack flash player.

Snake and frogs have been fed and the snake is about to molt again. They are now in the office and I can actually just spin around in my seat and visit them. I may install my art table in there too, since cat hair really doesn’t seem to be as much of a problem as I thought it was going to be and I think I could paint in here.

So I guess that’s the extent of my day so far. at least it hasn’t sucked.
